- Hi, all! I'm Arynne Borne, and- well, actually, that's not my name. But it is to you. :) Yep, so here I am. I'm not gonna give out much of my own information on this site, so if you're fishing for data to stalk me or something, well, sorry to disappoint. :) This blog won't be the sort of online journal where I post my entire life; nope, it's going to be me, posting whatever moves me at the moment. I'll try to keep it current! Could be songs, verses, a cool pic or two, a neat article, something hilarious, something sad, my ramblings on a subject that means a lot to me... sometimes I'll just need to write, and throw my thoughts out there for the world to see. So, bear with me as I launch out into the world, pen blazing! (Scroll down to the end of my blog for a much longer bio!)

Hi there! I’m Arynne, which may or may not be news to you, considering that you may or may not have meant to click on my link. Either way, I hope you’ll keep reading, as I really don’t think I’m too boring of a person—reach the end of this “little” page, and I’ll dare you to disagree! ;)
Well, where to begin? My full name is Arynne Jolene Borne. I’m seventeen, and I tend to gush, ramble, and write with British accents. Please adjust your mind’s ear accordingly!
I’m Swiss-German on my dad’s side, and Scottish on my mom’s. [Un]fortunately for my family, the result is a rather stubborn, strong-willed me, who occasionally will be filled with a fiery passion for something or other. Watch out. :) Such fervor generally takes the form of dancing (Ballet, Modern, and Pointe), reading (I pour over and through everything), writing (currently co-authoring a fantasy trilogy), and going Beethoven-style crazy on the piano. I also have a penchant for dark chocolate, black licorice, Brazilian coffee, and the color red.
First and foremost in my life, though, is my relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I owe my life (both this earthly one, and my eternal future) to His sacrifice for me. Galatians 2:20, Ephesians 2:8-9, Matthew 5:13-16, and Romans 8:38-39 are some of my favorites. Let God be true, and every human being a liar! (Romans 3)
So, what on earth do I do for fun? I hang with friends; I waste countless hours online; I write and draw; I dance; I play piano. Music, by the way, dominates a main portion of my poor brain; there isn’t a single point in time I won’t have six or more songs running through my head. Great musical soundtrack scores like those from Hans Zimmer and Andrew Lloyd Webber are wonderful, but I also love it loud; I think I’ve blown out the bass on every pair of speakers I own. Pop, alternative, rock, musicals, opera, dance—I’m not picky. I’ll put my foot down if it’s not clean, though.
Books—oh, goodness, don’t even ask me about books! I love so many: mysteries, thriller, suspense, fantasy, and the occasional romance. . . just ask, and I’ll expound. Just know that I read incredibly fast, and tend to disappear into another world (hardback preferred, with green apples and creamy peanut butter easily accessible) for hours on end. But I’d rather not fill my whole bio with a library list. :)
You could call me a city girl, but though I love being in the middle of it, I also enjoy the country. My favorite place on earth is the Rocky mountains of Colorado, though the wilds of Belem, Brazil is a close second. I spent one summer there on a missions trip with Teen Missions, Int’l, and I absolutely adored it! I’ll be composed and ladylike when necessary, but practicality reigns, with the occasional bout of daring frivolity.
Oh, my family is quite the circus: I’m the oldest, or eldest, I should say, in keeping with that beautiful British writing-accent. I have lots of younger brothers and sisters. We’ve got a dog—a Bouvier des Flanders, if you want to know—and I’ve had a countless stream of fish.
As I’m homeschooled, and the eldest, Mother Dear tends to emphasize the educational aspect of my life. So many tests! I enjoy school, though. My favorites are math and science when they’re practical, and English and reading when they’re applicable. Don’t ask me how all this coincides—I’m still trying to figure it out.
